Annet Mahendru

Mahendru is an Afghani woman born of a Russian father and a Hindu Indian mother. She is proficient of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru, born in India to her Russian father and an Indian mother, speaks fluently in both languages. At the age of 11 she choreographed and danced in a show that earned her an appearance on German television appearance. Her performance featured a Russian-born snow maiden who transformed into a fun Indian dancer. After high school, she graduated and was awarded a bachelor's degree in English at the University of New York. In college, she attended acting classes in the HB Studio, but she moved on to study improvisation at The Groundlings School taking on several comedy-related projects afterward. Her parents were the mother of an Afghani Hindu-Indian and Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. Their parents split when she turned 13 years old young and was moved to East Meadow New York with her father.She stars alongside Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell on The Americans on FX. The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was her best-known role. Her role was a regular one in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
